Chris, a car enthusiast based in Melbourne, was already helping mates find parts during his trips, so turning that into something bigger just made sense. In late 2023, what started as a side hustle quickly grew into a full operation. Chris secured a small warehouse in Kyoto and began organising regular shipments back to Australia.

Today, Muteki Imports runs containers out of Osaka every two months, loaded with everything from rare JDM car parts to bikes, wheels, tools, and the occasional weird finds. We’ve now upgraded to a larger facility in Japan, built solid relationships with Japanese wreckers, suppliers, and auction platforms, and continue to grow with every shipment.
